LevEls of Care

The first step in finding effective treatment is determining the appropriate level of care. Conditions that are more acute or complex require higher, more intensive levels of care while conditions that are more stable require lower, less intensive levels of care. In general, it is best for an individual to be treated at the least restrictive level of care that provides all of the needed therapeutic elements and a sufficient degree of structure and containment.

Camden Center provides the following four levels of care, ranging from more intensive to less intensive: Treatment + Integrative Housing, Intensive Day Treatment, Telehealth Intensive Treatment, and an Evening Program. The appropriate level of care for each patient is determined through a pre-admission assessment performed by one of our senior clinicians.

This level of care is for patients who need a structured, supportive living environment while undergoing treatment.

At this level of care, patients live on their own and come to the center to participate in treatment 3 to 5 hours per day, 3 to 5 days per week.

At this level of care, patients participate in treatment from home via telehealth 3 to 5 hours per day, 3 to 5 days per week.

At this level of care, patients who are working or in school during the day participate in treatment from home via telehealth 3 to 5 evenings per week.
