Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an intensive skills-based cognitive therapy that is used to treat a range of presenting issues, including personality and mood disorders.

DBT emphasizes mindfulness in teaching patients skills for distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Within these tenets, Camden Center’s specialized DBT therapists work with patients to foster emotional resilience, effective need fulfillment, and productivity.

Camden Center’s specialized Comprehensive DBT Program provides patients with the strong foundation they need for more intensive trauma work.
