Elizabeth Michael, PsyD, MSc, received her Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University in New York, New York. She earned her Master of Science degree in Medical Anthropology from the University of Oxford in Oxford, England. Dr. Michael then went on to earn her Doctor of Psychology degree from the PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium at Palo Alto University in Palo Alto, California.

Dr. Michael completed her doctoral internship at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In her final year of training, she completed the Women’s Mental Health and Trauma postdoctoral fellowship at the San Francisco VA Medical Center in San Francisco, California.

Dr. Michael specializes in providing care to individuals who experience trauma- and anxiety-related symptoms. She’s trained a variety of evidence-based treatments for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex PTSD (CPTSD), and various anxiety disorders. Further, she’s worked in a range of clinical settings, including academic medical centers and private hospitals.

At Camden Center, Dr. Michael serves as a clinician on the Comprehensive DBT Team and as a Clinical Team Lead.
